104/366 | Then and Now
Our pup is a fearful one. Our visit to the vet’s office this morning for the annual checkup/shots surely was stressful for him. In the waiting room where I shot the photo (on the right), he always refuses to stay on the floor like all other dogs. He insists on hopping up on the bench, sits very close to us, and freezes. It hasn’t changed since he was very little.
Looking at this composite makes me smile. For one, P looks as nervous or uncomfortable as K-dog, in both pictures. And oh how cute and tiny the pup was! The photos also makes me sad. Bad things happened to the little puppy soon after the photo on the left was taken. I also think about the things I could’ve done better or more of while he was young, while he was recovering. I guess looking back to your past always means thinking about both the blessing and what could have been.
