On the way to work in the morning, I drove by the trash collecting truck.
Those things are so… wild-west, and LOUD
We tend to walk the dog very very late night. It’s partly because of his fearfulness, and partly because of our schedules.
This is our city’s main library. It is just 5 blocks from my place. There is a large green area in front of it. I go there for the dog walking purpose. I have been inside the building only a few times, and I believe it’s the most beautiful from outside.
My stuff, including computers, was moved to the new office this afternoon. It was raining and I dreaded the move itself to the new department, so I was feeling blue. But the adorable young moving crew (Oh I sound old) was so pleasant and upbeat that by the time I unpacked and settled, I felt okay.
Sunday night. Since it was a nice day, we decided to grill burgers. While P grilled outside, I made vegetables; Asparagus, yellow squash, and mushrooms lightly sauteed in oil and garlic. Although it is much better than a few years ago, P still tends to focus on carbohydrate and protein sources. So, often, I end up being in charge of veges.
Burgers were okay. We put too much bread crumb in them, we think. It was not juicy enough.
I live with somebody who likes to mix his own drinks. He likes to make it extra strong.
Packing up to move to the new department which is located in another building. I was given two of those boxes to fill, and on Monday, they will come and move the boxes and equipments.
Tonight’s dinner. Yum.
We have a new guy in our team at work. He’s been there for only 6 days. Every time I see him, there is a permanent smile attached to his face.
Radiohead is my favorite band. They are not one of my favorite bands, but THE favorite band of all. If I had to make a chart of all the bands that I like, I would have to enlarge the scale of the chart just to fit Radiohead in way high up there.
We attended two cookouts this weekend. We really didn’t get much done otherwise…
